TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for several ongoing, workshop-based opportunities across Melbourne.
n
We are working with established businesses operating across specialised manufacturing, transport equipment and industrial engineering, with multiple positions available for mechanically skilled tradespeople.
n
These roles will suit experienced fitters who are confident with mechanical assembly, equipment fit-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, fault finding, modifications and repairs.

$*****–$***** per hour + Super + Overtime (subject to assignment and experience)

Weekly pay

Full-time hours
n
Long-term opportunities

Monday to Friday, with overtime available

Workshop-based positions
n
Established and supportive workshop teams

Varied mechanical and fabrication-related projects

The Work
n
n
Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation
n
Equipment fit-out and component installation
n
Hydraulic and pneumatic system installation
n
Mechanical repairs and modifications
n
Fault finding and troubleshooting
n
Reading and interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
n
Installation of pumps, valves, pipework and associated components
n
Preventative and general workshop maintenance
n
Working independently and as part of an experienced trades team
n




Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or another relevant mechanical trade
n
Robust mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
n
Experience with mechanical assembly, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
n
Ability to read and interpret technical or engineering drawings
n
Experience using workshop and power tools
n
Ability to work autonomously when required
n
Reliable attitude and a strong focus on quality
n
n
Experience within industrial manufacturing, heavy equipment, transport equipment or specialised engineering environments will be highly regarded.
