About the Clinic n
Vetwest Animal Hospital Canning Vale is a well established, vibrant clinic delivering a full range of GP veterinary services to the local community. Our clinic is one of the flagship clinics in the Vetwest group, and supports a cooperative team of 6 veterinarians and 4 veterinary nurses, all committed to providing high quality, compassionate care to every patient and client who walks through our doors.

About the Role n
We're seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a full time capacity. This is a hands on, clinical role with a strong focus on surgical nursing, anaesthesia, and patient care, alongside reception support when required.
n
You'll play a key role in supporting our vets, and helping the clinic run smoothly day to day – with autonomy, variety, and genuine impact.
What you'll be doing: n
n
Supporting vets across surgery, anaesthesia, and patient care
n
Delivering high level anaesthetic monitoring and post operative recovery care
n
Monitoring hospitalised patients and administering medications and treatments
n
Assisting with diagnostics and maintaining accurate patient records
n
Providing clear, compassionate client communication and education
n
Supporting reception duties including bookings, payments, and enquiries when needed
n
Managing a varied and busy workload with confidence and care
n
Flexible rostering available
n
What We're Looking For n

Registered Veterinary Nurse
n
Solid foundational skills in surgical and anaesthesia procedures
n
Confidence across patient care, hospital nursing, and reception supportli>Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
n
A calm, proactive approach in a fast paced clinical environment
n
A genuine commitment to high standards of veterinary care
