Responsibilities n
As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will:

Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of power system projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Perform power system studies, including load flow, fault level, protection coordination, and stability analysis.
n
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
n
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored engineering solutions.
n
Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project deliverables.
n
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
n
Qualifications n
To be successful in this role, you will need:
n
n
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
n
Extensive experience in power systems engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
n
Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or ETAP.
n
Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
n




Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
n
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
n
Chartered Engineer status or eligibility for CPEng accreditation will be highly regarded.

Day-to-Day n
Your typical day will involve:

Conducting detailed power system studies and analyses to support project requirements.

Leading project meetings and liaising with clients to ensure alignment with their objectives.

Reviewing and approving technical designs and documentation prepared by the team.
