The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7:30am – 8pm. The initial hours during training will be 8:30am – 5pm.
Role Overview n
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include n
n
Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
n
Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
n
Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
n
Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
n
n
Once fully trained, you will have the chance to also be trained as a Contact Centre Agent, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Answering inbound phone calls for appointment bookings.
n
Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
n
Effectively managing the appointment calendar.
n

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
n
Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
n
Excellent attention to detail.
n
Experience in customer service or medical reception.
