This role is the primary HSEQ Professional servicing a large team across the Perth metro area and parts of regional WA. With a focus on building safety capability and engagement across operational teams, this is a outstanding opportunity to help build a highly functional safety culture.

Our client is LGC Group, comprising of three main business units, Traffic Management, Equipment Hire; and Rail Services. They are a rapidly growing business servicing large scale projects across WA.

Description

Develop and implement HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
n
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
n
Provide training and guidance to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices.
n
Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics to senior management.
n
Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as required.
n
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and quality.
n
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
n




Oversee the preparation and submission of relevant compliance documentation.
n

Profile
n
A successful HSEQ Leader should have:
n
n
Strong knowledge of health, safety, environment, and quality standards within the construction sector.
n
Experience in developing and implementing HSEQ policies and procedures.
n
Experience with leading and contributing to ISO accreditation.
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with teams and stakeholders.
n
A strong drive to build culture and create capability across the organisation.
n
A relevant qualification in occupational health and safety or a related field.
n
Ability to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
n

Job Offer

Competitive salary between $160,000 and $180,000 AUD + superannuation.
