MuraConnect is partnering with a leading Government organisation to identify an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to support the delivery of a major ICT transformation program. This is a long‐term contract opportunity, with engagement available for up to 16 months.

You'll provide high-level procurement, contract management and commercial support across technology and business initiatives, working closely with project teams, business stakeholders and vendors to deliver strong commercial and value‐for‐money outcomes.

The Role
n
As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing procurement and contractual activities across the full lifecycle, including:
n

Managing end-to-end procurement and contract activities
n
Coordinating RFQs, RFTs, evaluations, contract establishment and variations
n
Providing commercial and procurement advice to project teams and stakeholders
n
Managing contract deliverables, milestones, renewals and extensions
n
Supporting vendor negotiations and procurement planning
n
Monitoring supplier performance, service levels and KPIs
n
Managing procurement risks, compliance and governance requirements
n
Monitoring expenditure, forecasting and financial commitments
n
Preparing procurement, contract performance and governance reporting
n

About You
n
To be successful,



you will be an experienced procurement and contract management professional with strong commercial acumen and the confidence to operate across complex stakeholder and vendor environments.

You will bring:
n
n
Strong experience across procurement, contract management or commercial services
n
Demonstrated end-to-end procurement experience
n
Strong understanding of contract management, supplier performance and commercial governance
n
Experience interpreting contracts and managing contractual obligations
n
Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management skills
n
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a highly governed environment
n
Government or regulated procurement experience is highly regarded
n
ICT, technology, digital transformation or professional services procurement experience will be advantageous
n
