is hiring! We are looking for an experienced cleaner who wants a stable, long-term position with a supportive company.

Hours:
Part-time 5 days per week (31 hours). Shifts are between
9am – 4pm
. There is opportunity to take on additional hours on weekends or work evening shifts if desired.

Description of the role:

Cleaning the interior of boarding houses including common areas and staff and student's rooms.
n
n




Vacuuming and mopping floors.
n
n
Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom and laundry fixtures and replenishing consumables.
n
n
Emptying bins and removing rubbish.
n
n
Applying appropriate chemicals to remove stains and dirt.
n
n
Reporting any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
n

n
n
Relevant experience in cleaning schools/offices (minimum 1 year in Australia)
n
n
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with school staff.
n
n
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
n
n
Good time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing workloads.
n
n
Valuable organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
n
n
Ability to show initiative and problem solve.
n
n
Must hold or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check card.
n
n
Must hold or be willing to apply for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check via the Department of Education (WA).
n
