Montessori Early Learning Seacliff is a 47-place family-owned and family-operated Montessori centre seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our small team!

The Role
n
Full-time or part-time, flexible hours
n
Work directly alongside the owner and other admin staff
n
Leadership role in the organisation, to help develop, guide and strengthen our team
n
Qualified to work with children, and happy to work on the floor on occasion when covering last minute
n
This role does not require individual full responsibility and ownership of all tasks in this role, as it will be shared. You do not need prior experience in all tasks that this role would normally require.
n
Build meaningful, trusting, and respectful relationships with children and their caregivers
n
No Montessori experience is required

Well-resourced Montessori service operating in Seacliff for 20+ years
n
Licensed for 47 places
n
Independent, locally owned and owner-operated centre
n
Catering for children from 2 – 5 years old(no children under 2)
n
Opening hours currently 7:00am until 5:30pm, Monday-Friday,



50 weeks per year
n
Established, consistent staffing team with rare use of agency
n

Role Requirements
n
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, managing a team; either as a Director or Assistant Director
n
Hold a qualification that allows you to work on the floor
n
Valid Working with Children Check
n
Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
n
RRHAN-EC Mandatory Notification Training or willing to obtain
n
Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
n
