Job Description

n
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team based in Roseville NSW.
Your role as Electrician n
n
Install, maintain, test, commission and certify electrical assets across various locations on the Sydney Metro network.
n
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical assets and systems in accordance with relevant standard, legislation and regulations.
n
Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and diagnostic tools and perform repairs and replacements as required.
n
Interpret circuit drawings and complete electrical wiring and installations.
n
Respond to service calls, equipment breakdowns and asset faults to restore normal operations.
n
Monitor system parameters using control systems and sensors and adjust settings as required.
n
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records using CMMS and other documentation tools.
n
Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
n
Undertake electrical work including domestic, commercial, industrial and high-voltage installations.
n
Work on electrical and related assets such as HVAC, Tunnel Ventilation and BMS systems when required.
n
Requirements and Qualifications n
n
Trade Qualified Electrician
n
Current NSW Electrical Licence
n
Relevant Construction Card (e.g. White Card)
n
Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card (can be provided)
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and wiring diagrams
n
Ability to use testing equipment, diagnostic tools and hand tools safely and effectively
n
Capable of obtaining Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications
n
Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs
n
Computer literacy
