Maintenance Electrician – Rotating Day & Night Shift

Are you an A-Grade Licensed Electrician with experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment?

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team in a permanent full-time position on a fortnightly rotating roster.
n

Previous food manufacturing experience is not essential. However, applicants must have experience maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
n
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
n
Complete planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
n
Fault find across electrical control systems and production equipment
n
Assist with machinery installations,



upgrades and commissioning
n
Maintain accurate maintenance records
n
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
n
Work collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams to maximise plant reliability
n
n
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
n
n
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
n
Previous experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment is essential.
n
Robust fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
Experience carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
PLC fault-finding experience will be highly regarded
n
Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
n
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
