nAbout You n
n
You are an experienced employment lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
n
nYour Experience and Expertise: n
n
n
n
Extensive experience in employment and workplace relations law, preferably within the public sector
n
n
Strong understanding of public sector employment frameworks, including the Public Sector Act
n
n
Significant experience managing and advising on disciplinary processes and employment-related decision making
n
n
Expertise in handling employee grievances, complaints and workplace dispute resolution matters
n
n
Demonstrated experience advising on misconduct, integrity and corruption-related issues
n
n
Robust background in performance management and employee conduct matters
n
n
Experience interpreting and advising on industrial instruments, awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions
n
n
In-depth knowledge of public sector employment legislation and associated regulatory requirements
n
n
Proven experience conducting and advising on workplace investigations
n
n
Expertise in discrimination, equal opportunity, anti-bullying,



human rights and workplace behaviour matters
n
n
Experience advising on privacy, information management and confidentiality issues arising in employment contexts
n
n
Ability to provide strategic and practical legal advice to senior executives and key decision-makers
n
n
Experience managing a large and complex caseload while maintaining high standards of client service
n
n
Excellent drafting skills, particularly in relation to disciplinary correspondence, investigation outcomes and grievance responses
n
n
Strong capability to deliver commercially focused and risk-based advice that supports operational outcomes
n
n
Ability to identify legal, reputational and organisational risks and provide pragmatic recommendations
n
n
