Senior Pool Installer / Pool Construction Supervisor

Daydream Pools is looking for an experienced Senior Pool Installer / Pool Construction Supervisor to join our growing team.
n
This is a hands‐on senior position working closely with the Owner and Site Supervisor to ensure our projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standard our customers expect.
n
You'll play a key role in leading installations and managing the day‐to‐day work on site, while still being actively involved in the physical installation process. You'll oversee labourers and pool installers, coordinate site activities and subcontractors, solve problems as they arise, and help keep each project on schedule.
n
We undertake projects throughout Queensland, so the role will involve some travel and overnight stays when installations take us outside our usual Brisbane and Sunshine Coast service areas.

Key responsibilities
n
Leading and working hands‐on with pool installation crews
n
Installing precast concrete plunge pools and associated equipment
n
Assisting with freeform concrete pool construction
n
Completing pool plumbing, filtration and equipment installation
n
Reading construction plans, engineering details and setting out pools
n
Coordinating subcontractors, machinery and day‐to‐day site activities
n
Identifying and resolving site issues as they arise
n
Taking ownership of jobs and making practical decisions on site when required
n
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and site presentation
n
Supervising, supporting and developing junior installers and labourers
n




Communicating closely with the Owner and Site Supervisor regarding progress, scheduling and site requirements
n
Ensuring projects continue to move efficiently and are completed to Daydream Pools' standards
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who is experienced, practical and comfortable taking responsibility on site. You'll need to be able to lead a crew while also being willing to get in and do the work alongside them.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
Several years' experience in swimming pool construction or installation; applicants with strong construction or trade backgrounds will also be considered
n
Valuable knowledge of pool construction, plumbing, filtration and pool equipment
n
Experience installing precast and/or concrete swimming pools
n
Ability to read plans, engineering drawings and site documentation
n
Strong practical problem‐solving skills
n
Leadership experience or the confidence to supervise and direct other team members
n
A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a small team
n
A strong focus on workmanship, safety and customer service
n
Willingness to travel throughout Queensland and stay overnight when required — essential
n
Construction White Card — essential
n




Current driver's licence and reliable transport — essential
n
QBCC Pool Builder licence — highly regarded
n
Relevant machinery tickets – highly regarded
