Insurance Financial Adviser - Permanent full-time position About the role n
We're looking for an experienced
Insurance Financial Adviser
to join Avant Life's Financial Planning team in Sydney.
n
You'll provide specialised personal financial advice to Avant members, medical professionals and their families, with a focus on
life insurance and personal risk protection
, both inside and outside superannuation.
n
You'll build trusted client relationships and provide tailored, compliant advice that helps medical professionals protect themselves, their families and their businesses.
What you'll be doing n
n
Providing personal advice across
Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection insurance
n
Advising on insurance strategies including
key person, business overheads and buy/sell arrangements
n
Building and maintaining solid relationships with Avant members and medical professionals
n
Working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience
n
Conducting research and preparing high-quality, compliant advice
n
Maintaining strong compliance and regulatory standards
n
Using
XPLAN
for advice and workflow management and
Commpay
for premiums
n
Working with dedicated advice support officers so you can focus on client relationships and financial advice
n
About you n
You'll be an ethical and experienced financial adviser with a strong track record in
personal life insurance advice




and excellent interpersonal skills.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
An approved
Bachelor's degree (AQF7) or above
, or an alternative pathway recognised under current legislation
n
Current or eligible
ASIC registration as a Relevant Provider
, including meeting Fit and Proper requirements
n
Demonstrated experience providing personal advice on retail life insurance products
n
Deep knowledge of the Australian life insurance sector, including
Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection and superannuation
n
Experience using life insurance strategies within Business structures
n
Demonstrated experience using
XPLAN
, including workflow management, and
Commpay.
n
