Effie Kats is seeking an experienced
Senior Tech Pack Technician
to join our team and support the technical development of our growing womenswear collections.
n
Working closely with our design and production team, you will be responsible for translating creative concepts into clear, accurate and production-ready technical packs. This role requires an exceptional understanding of garment construction, fit and fabrication, with the ability to anticipate technical challenges and communicate solutions effectively to our manufacturers.
n
With a focus on elevated womenswear and occasion dressing, you will work across gowns, dresses, tailoring, separates and structured pieces from initial development through to production.
The Role n
You will take ownership of technical documentation across the development process, ensuring every garment is communicated accurately and consistently from design concept through to final production.

Key responsibilities include:

Creating detailed production-ready tech packs and technical flats
n
Developing garment specifications, measurement charts and points of measure
n
Documenting construction methods, seams, finishes, closures, linings, trims and hardware
n
Translating sketches, reference imagery and design direction into technically achievable garments
n
Reviewing samples and providing detailed fit,



construction and workmanship comments
n
Communicating clearly with local and international manufacturers.
n
About You n
You will have
senior-level experience in technical design, garment technology or tech pack development
, ideally within premium or designer womenswear.
n
You will bring a solid understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, fit and manufacturing, with particular confidence working across occasionwear, gowns, tailoring, structured garments and stretch fabrications.
n
You will also be highly organised and detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple styles simultaneously, confident communicating technical requirements to factories, and capable of working independently while collaborating closely with a creative team.
n
Experience working with
offshore manufacturers and international suppliers
will be highly regarded.

how a garment is actually constructed
and can use that knowledge to turn a creative concept into a commercially viable, beautifully finished product.

You will have the confidence to question construction where necessary, recommend technical solutions and maintain the integrity of the original design throughout development.
