Job Description
Join an innovative Australian medical technology company developing breakthrough cancer surgery solutions that have the potential to improve patient outcomes worldwide. Working as part of a close-knit and highly collaborative team, you will play a key role in supporting the development, scale-up and manufacture of a novel nanoparticle-based technology currently progressing through clinical trials and towards commercialisation.

About the Role
n
You will support analytical development and characterisation activities across research, manufacturing and quality operations.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Developing, transferring and validating analytical methods to support product development and regulatory programmes
n
Performing analytical characterisation of polymers, magnetic nanoparticles and related materials.
n
Conducting routine and non-routine testing to support R&D;, manufacturing and batch release activities.
n
Operating, maintaining, calibrating and qualifying laboratory instrumentation.
n
Supporting GMP laboratory activities, SOP development and quality system compliance.
n
Analysing data and preparing technical reports, certificates of analysis and documentation for regulatory submissions.
n
Coordinating testing activities with external laboratories and service providers.
n
Contributing across multiple projects as the business transitions from clinical development towards commercialisation and manufacturing scale-up.

About You
n
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:
n
n
MSc or PhD qualifications in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related discipline.
n
Experience working within regulated laboratory environments, ideally GMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device settings.
n
Strong hands-on HPLC experience is essential.
n
Experience in analytical method development and/or quality control.
n
Strong trouble-shooting skills.
n
Excellent data interpretation and problem-solving skills
n
Exposure to techniques such as NMR, ICP-MS, ICP-OES will be highly regarded.
n
A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across R&D;, manufacturing support and quality activities.
