Purpose of the Position

nGHS Solutions is seeking an
experienced Machinist with fitting capabilities
to join our growing
engineering and machining team in Geraldton
.n
nThis role will involve a combination of manual machining, component manufacture, and mechanical fitting work across a variety of projects supporting the mining, resources, and industrial sectors.n

Mandatory Requirements

Trade Qualification (Cert III Mechanical Fitting or Cert III Fitting and Machining)




n
Construction Industry White Card
n
Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 12 months)
n
HRWL Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
n
Current Drivers licence
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operating manual & CNC lathes and milling machines
n
Machining components to engineering drawings and tolerances
n
Assisting with mechanical fitting, assembly and repairs
n
Inspection and measurement of machined parts
n
Maintaining workshop equipment and tools
n
Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
n
Skills And Experience
n
n
Experience operating manual and CNC lathes and milling machines
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Experience with mechanical fitting and equipment repairs
n
Strong attention to detail and precision
n
Ability to work independently and within a team
n
Mining or heavy industry experience highly regarded
n
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
n
