Position: Electrical Engineer, Power Stations Type: Contract Compensation: $70/hour Location: Remote Commitment: ***** hours/week Role Responsibilities Review tasks on power station electrical systems, including circuit and control design , switchgear and protection , and power distribution .
Check engineering assumptions, calculations, code and standards use, and equipment data for accuracy and compliance.
Flag ambiguity, missing constraints, and unrealistic deliverables to ensure project feasibility and safety.
Produce clear written findings to communicate technical insights and recommendations effectively.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve project outcomes.




Qualifications Must-Have Current or recent hands-on electrical engineering experience at a power station, power generation facility, or substation.
Circuit design depth in protection and controls , switchgear , and power distribution .
Experience at a company that builds or delivers power plants, such as an EPC contractor, power generation developer, utility, or owner engineering group.
