As a Level 2.1 Medical Receptionist, you'll utilise your healthcare administration experience to coordinate patient appointments, manage treatment-related administration, process billing and support complex patient care pathways in a fast-paced specialist environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical administrator who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and contributing to a team that genuinely cares.

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver a professional and compassionate experience for patients, carers and visitors
Manage specialist appointments, treatment bookings and patient enquiries
Coordinate administrative aspects of patient care pathways from initial consultation through to ongoing treatment
Process patient billing, Medicare and DVA claims accurately and efficiently
Maintain confidential patient records and ensure data integrity across multiple systems
Liaise closely with specialists, nursing staff and allied health professionals to support smooth daily operations
Manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Contribute to a positive team culture and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We're looking for an experienced healthcare administrator who thrives in a busy specialist practice, private hospital or medical centre environment.
You'll bring
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Healthcare Administrator
Strong knowledge of Medicare billing, health fund processing and DVA claims
Sound understanding of medical terminology




Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
High-level attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Most importantly, you'll be someone who combines professionalism with genuine empathy and understands the important role administration teams play in delivering exceptional patient care.
