We are seeking an Undergraduate HSE Advisor to join our team on a casual vacation placement from November **** to February ****.
This is a great opportunity to put your studies into practice and gain hands-on experience within the civil construction industry.
Opportunities may be available across metro-based projects, working Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, or project-based positions on a 2:1 roster, depending on project requirements.
This role is designed for students who are looking to build their practical HSE experience over the university break while developing an understanding of what it's like to work within a major civil construction environment.
To be considered for this position as an Undergraduate HSE Advisor you will possess the following: Currently studying or recently completed a Bachelor Degree of Science – Health, Safety and Environment or a related discipline A genuine interest in developing a career in HSE within the Civil Construction industry Strong verbal and written communication skills Good organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with personnel at all levels Strong commitment to maintaining a secure and compliant work environment Willingness to learn and develop practical HSE knowledge and skills Current C Class Driver's Licence As an Undergraduate HSE Advisor, you will work alongside our HSE team and be responsible for, but not limited to: Supporting the HSE team with the implementation and monitoring of project HSE processes, systems and programs Participating in site inspections, workplace observations, audits and compliance activities Assisting with the identification and reporting of hazards, risks,
