Our state-of-the-art technology and experienced therapists cover IPL Hair Removal, HydroFacial, Microdermabrasion, Skin Micro-Needling, Eyelash Extensions, Brow Treatments, Cosmetic Tattooing, and Teeth Whitening.
We are seeking a experienced Beauty Therapist to support the organisation and management of operational activities within the clinic at Port Hedland, Western Australia.
The successful applicant will be responsible for attending to all beauty therapy services operating within our salon.
The position is suited to practical and technically capable individuals with experience in Skin Analysers, Laser and IPL Systems, Radiofrequency (RF) and Ultrasound Devices, and hand-tools associated with Microdermabrasion and Hydrodermabrasion.
This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to work independently in an beauty salon environment and to respond effectively to changing operational and/or service conditions as required.
Key Responsibilities The Beauty Therapist will be responsible for: Facial and skincare treatments - cleansing, exfoliation, masks, moisturising and treatments for particular skin concerns.
Hair removal - waxing, threading and sometimes other forms of temporary hair removal.
Nail care - manicures, pedicures, nail shaping and polish or gel applications.
Make-up - everyday, special-occasion or event make-up.
Eyelash and eyebrow treatments - tinting, shaping, lash lifting/extensions and brow treatments, depending on qualifications.
Body treatments - body scrubs, wraps and some forms of massage, where appropriately trained.
Consultations - assessing a client's skin and recommending suitable treatments and home-care products.
Product advice and sales - explaining and recommending skincare and beauty products.
Salon hygiene and safety - sterilising equipment, maintaining treatment areas and following health and safety procedures.
Client administration - making appointments, maintaining treatment records and processing payments.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous demonstrable performance of professional beauty therapy treatments including facials, skin treatments, IPL hair removal, eyelash extensions, lash lifts, brow services, facial/body waxing, manicure pedicures teeth whitening and other beauty treatments within their qualifications.
Conduct client consultations, assess skin concerns and recommend suitable treatment plans and home care products.
Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes.
Ensure all treatments are performed safely and in accordance with salon policies, infection control procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
Prepare, clean and sterilise treatment rooms, equipment and instruments.
Maintain high standards of hygiene,
cleanliness and presentation throughout the salon.
Assist with appointment management, rebooking clients and processing payments using the salon booking system.
Promote retail skincare products, treatment packages and salon services.
Participate in ongoing career development and training.
Deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the salon.
What We Offer : Salary of $80,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
