We are seeking motivated Workshop Trade Assistant to join our team in Henderson on a casual basis.
This is a hands-on prospect for applicants who are specifically working towards a Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship in ****.
Successful candidates will work alongside our experienced workshop team, gaining valuable practical experience and demonstrating their suitability for a future apprenticeship prospect!
What you'll be doing: Assisting workshop crews with daily activities and job requirements Supporting the manufacture and assembly of workshop components Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment Assisting with equipment, vehicle and general workshop maintenance Supporting stock control, inventory activities and stock takes Completing required paperwork and records Participating in toolbox meetings and following all WHS requirements Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members What we're looking for: A genuine interest in pursuing a Fitter Machinist Apprenticeship in **** A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices Positive attitude,



reliability and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Good communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable undertaking practical, hands-on and physically active work Ability to maintain high housekeeping standards Previous workshop, mechanical or trade assistant experience is advantageous, but not essential You will be working in a busy workshop environment, including standing , manual handling, use of tools and equipment.
A safety-first mindset is essential.
