Branch Coordinator
* Salary: $100,894 - $114,476 (Plus superannuation)
* Ongoing position
* Usual hours of work: Full-time ((flexibility may be available)
* Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC **** (flexibility may be available)
The Role
Branch Coordinator is required to work independently and proactively in a small team to support the Executive team.
You will have a keen eye for detail, strong proactive management of administrative functions and processes, triaging and responding to internal and external information requests, excellent organisational and communication skills, project management skills, and the demonstrated capacity to support the Executive Director and Directors through proactive management and effective relationships within the branch and with stakeholders.
Working to the Principal Adviser, you will also be required to support them with tasks as requested.
This role also requires proactive management of the external office environment so the branch can function effectively and to promote staff wellbeing by contributing to a positive and well organised environment, including through the management of occupational, health and safety risks.
Key accountabilities include:
* Provides specialist administrative and corporate support expertise
* Recommends resource allocation to immediate manager in order to meet service delivery priorities
* Manages projects, usually under limited direction
* Innovative thinking is an inherent feature of the job
* Conveys specialist concepts and policies to clients, staff and stakeholders
* Prepares reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact at program or organisational level
The Team
The position of Branch Coordinator will work within Policy and Strategy Branch, which sits within Skills and TAFE Group.

skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
Working in close partnership with the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA), S&T; provides leadership and stewardship of a responsive, high-quality vocational education and training (VET) system.
This includes oversight of the Victorian TAFE Network, led by the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD), and the apprenticeships system, with a strong focus on aligning training with industry needs and strengthening pathways into the workforce.
S&T; supports lifelong learning and inclusive education through Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) and the Learn Local network, helping adult learners progress into further study or work.
S&T; collaborates across government, industry, education providers, and communities to deliver skills-focused solutions that improve workforce outcomes and enable businesses to access a skilled workforce.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

* Resource Mobilisation: Monitors resources utilisation within guidelines; where required, acquires additional resources within defined parameters, takes corrective actions when resource utilisation practices deviate from guidelines established.
* Interpersonal Skills: Sees things from another's point of view and confirms understanding; Tailors communications according to audience and/or audience preference.
