This is not your typical production machining environment.
You'll be involved in creating prototype components, specialised tooling and precision-engineered parts that contribute to innovative projects and product development.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll learn advanced machining techniques while developing the practical knowledge and trade skills needed to become a qualified Engineering Tradesperson.

What You'll Be Doing Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Operating CNC machines,



lathes and milling machines Manufacturing precision components and prototype parts Using hand tools, precision measuring equipment and workshop machinery Assisting with fitting, assembly and modification of mechanical components Maintaining quality standards and attention to detail Following safe work practices and workshop procedures Contributing to a team-oriented and professional team environment About You We're looking for someone who takes responsibility for their work, communicates professionally and genuinely wants to learn a skilled trade.
You may be a recent school leaver, someone looking for a practical career pathway, or an individual seeking to start a trade where quality workmanship and continuous learning are highly valued.
To be successful, you will: Have completed Year 10 or higher Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with full working rights Demonstrate strong attention to detail Have good problem-solving skills Be reliable and punctual Take pride in producing quality work Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn Work well both independently and within a team Hold a driver's licence (desirable but not essential) About Australian Industry Group Australian Industry Group is one of Australia's leading employment and training organisations.
