About the Role Join our supportive Cancer Program team and provide confidential administrative, secretarial and reception support to Consultants across the Department.
You'll help keep day-to-day administrative activities organised, respond to enquiries, coordinate appointments and meetings, and work closely with clinical and administrative teams across the hospital.
Provide confidential administrative, secretarial and reception support to Consultants Coordinate appointments, meetings, diaries and correspondence Respond to telephone,
patient and staff enquiries and provide appropriate assistance Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports, minutes and other documentation Maintain accurate records, filing systems and information using hospital systems Support day-to-day workloads and contribute to a well-organised and efficient office About You You'll be an organised and approachable administrator who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively and provide a high standard of service to patients, Consultants and colleagues.
You'll be comfortable working with confidential information and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Clear and professional communication skills, including with patients and health professionals Ability to work independently, use initiative and seek guidance when required Accurate data entry and confidence using computerised information systems Experience using Microsoft Office and a range of office equipment Experience undertaking a range of administrative duties in a confidential environment Sound knowledge of, or willingness to develop, medical terminology A customer-focused approach and commitment to providing quality administrative support Why You'll Love It Here - CALHN benefits that matter A great career is more than the work you do.
