We're looking for enthusiastic Casual Educators who are passionate about working with children and creating fun, engaging and meaningful experiences every day.
About Our Lady of Lourdes OSHC Located within the grounds of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School and proudly part of the Sunnybank Parish community, our service has been supporting local families for over 20 years.
Licensed to care for up to 120 children , we provide Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care in a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Our programs are child-led and interest-based , reflecting each child's culture, strengths and ideas while encouraging independence, creativity and confidence.
We promote belonging, wellbeing and cultural inclusion across our service community.
A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator As an Educator, you will: Provide warm and nurturing care that supports each child's wellbeing and development Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can thrive Plan and facilitate fun, educational and recreational activities based on children's interests Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and team members Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and passionate team Get involved in exciting activities and excursions during Vacation Care Finish each day knowing you've made a positive difference in a child's day What Makes a Great Educator for Our Team?
We're looking for people who have: A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent — desirable but not essential A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current First Aid and CPR certification A genuine passion for working with and supporting school-aged children in a play-based environment Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, Early Years Learning Framework, National Law and Regulations , or the ability and willingness to learn Effective verbal and written communication skills A willingness to complete Child Protection Training as required Why Join Us?
