We have an urgent requirement for aSenior Quantity Surveyorto head up the commercial team on our new rail project which is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
n
This is a£55mil rail projectcommencing immediately
n
Project is multidisciplinary including Design, Track, OLE, Signalling and Civils Works and will require someone with relevant experience and Ideally someone who is local to Newcastle.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Implement Commercial Strategy for the project to ensure successful Commercial delivery
n
Procure and manage Subcontractors
n
Prepare and submit Client Applications for Payment
n
Internal and external management reporting
n
Compile, submit and agree Variations
n




Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
n
Contract Administration
n
liaising with project Planner
n
n
To be Considered for this role you must have
n
Relevant professional qualification with experience of Rail commercial contract management upstream and downstream with proven experience
n
Solid experience of the types of contract prevalent within our industry including NEC etc.
n
Track record of delivering successful projects and demonstrable experience in managing multiple projects at any one time
n
Along with a competitive salary you can also expect an attractive 20% bonus
