nOn behalf of our client - a leading construction firm specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial projects- we are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join their team. Our client is known for delivering complex builds, including high-end luxury homes, multi-unit developments, and mixed-use commercial structures, with a solid focus on quality, innovation, and sustainable design.n

nKey Duties and Responsibilitiesn
nProject Planning & Site Coordinationn
n• Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards; draft and interpret detailed specifications, drawings, and construction procedures.n
n• Organize and direct site labor, manage delivery of materials and equipment, and develop comprehensive programs to coordinate all site activities efficiently.n
n
nGeotechnical Analysis & Structural Designn
n• Collect soil and rock samples at various depths, conduct laboratory tests to evaluate strength, compressibility, and other geotechnical properties, and calculate safe loading capacities.n
n• Analyze structural systems under static and dynamic loads, and design structures to prevent collapse, excessive bending, twisting, or vibration.n
n




nCost Estimation & Budget Controln
n• Study architectural and engineering drawings to prepare accurate total cost estimates and detailed cost plans, supporting effective budgetary oversight.n
n• Monitor design changes, assess cost impacts, and measure, value, and negotiate variations to maintain financial control.n
n
nTransportation & Infrastructure Planningn
n• Evaluate current and future travel flow patterns, considering population growth and shifting needs.n
n• Design physical aspects of transportation systems, including highways, railroads, urban transit, air transport, and logistical supply networks.n
n
nRequirementsn
n• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.n
n• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in a related civil engineering position.n
n• Proficiency in structural analysis software and cost estimation tools.n
n• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and geotechnical practices.n
n• Excellent project management and communication skills.n
n• Relevant qualification to above field.n
n
