Lunar Outpost Oceania is seeking a talented Systems Engineering Intern to join our fast-paced, dynamic team.In this role, you will design and develop systems for spacecraft and associated technologies. Your work will contribute to groundbreaking projects in lunar mobility and in-situ resource utilisation.

During this 12 week internship, you will be required to work on a full time basis onsite in Burnley.
n
Applicants must have full, unrestricted working rights for Australia.

Position Description
n
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will:
n
n
Assist with the development, analysis, and maintenance of system requirements.
n
Support the creation and management of interface documentation
n
Help maintain requirements between system and subsystems, across hardware and software
n
Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and engineering workshops.
n
Contribute to the development, execution, and reporting of verification and validation activities
n




Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system designs satisfy stakeholder requirements.
n
Prepare technical presentations, reports, and engineering review materials.
n
Contribute effectively to team objectives and project milestones.
n
Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards at all stages of work.
n

Preferred Disciplines
n
Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering.
n
Requirements
n
n
Minimum of 2 years' experience studying an engineering discipline at university.
n
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
n
Confidence to participate in design reviews and provide feedback and recommendations to improve system performance.
n
Must be legally permitted to work in Australia
n
