So, what does a typical day look like?
n
As a full-time, Senior Catering Attendant, you're an integral member of our team, working across a range of areas to prepare all elements required to deliver a memorable dining experience for passengers onboard our airline customers flights. To do this, you perform a variety of roles across our production kitchen, including light food prep, packing and assembling meals. Responsibilities include:

Help chefs prepare meals in bulk.
n
Measure ingredients and prepare fruit, vegetables, and proteins.
n
Handle food, plate meals, and set meal trays to presentation standards.
n
Stock airline carts with catering items, snacks, and beverages.
n
Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
n
Keep work areas clean and sanitised at all times.
n
Work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
n
n
About You
n
n
Full ongoing working rights in Australia.

Sound numerical skills.
n
Strong knife skills (safe,



efficient and repetitive use of various knives for food prep)
n
Good verbal and written communication skills.
n
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as move and lift items.
n
Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
n
Neat and tidy presentation.
n
Sound knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential)
n
Comfortable to wear PPE gear along with a standardised uniform
n
Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
n
Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full time permanent position.
