Pty Ltd trading as Campus Brewing in Canning Vale, is looking for an experienced production/operation manager in our quick-growing brewery.
Key responsibilities for this role involves : Plans, organises, directs, controls, and coordinates all commercial brewing, cellaring, and packaging operations across the brewery, managing both physical brewery assets and production personnel.
Formulates, executes, and evaluates overarching brewing strategies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production schedules for core and seasonal beer ranges.
Establishes detailed production schedules to meet volume, quality, time, and budget targets while allocating shift labour and raw materials.
Oversees production/operation of brewhouse, cellar,
and packaging alongside quality control procedures by scheduling preventative maintenance, setting production shift hours, and managing spare parts and brewing tools inventory.
Tracks yield, extract efficiency, loss metrics, and operational expenditure, making real-time process and resource adjustments to minimise utility usage and production costs.
Briefs management on brewhouse yield, packaging schedules, inventory levels, and operational performance.
Leads the sourcing, installation, and commissioning of new brewhouse vessels, fermentation tanks, canning/bottling lines, and cellar infrastructure.
Directs trial brews, recipe development, and recipe scale-ups while researching, proposing, and implementing modern brewing technologies and efficiency initiatives.
Directs the daily activities of brewers, cellar hand technicians, and packaging operators while actively monitoring and evaluating team performance.
The minimum work experience for this position are : 3 years of relevant work experience.
The skills requirements for this position are : Ability to plan brew days, tank rotations, and packaging lines to hit yield and volume targets on time.
Experience managing, training, and scheduling brewers, cellar hands, and packaging staff.
Capability to enforce strict hygiene protocols, temperature controls, and taste testing standards.
