A Day in The Life As a SEO Manager, you'll develop and execute SEO and AI-visibility strategies that drive organic growth for our clients.
You'll work closely with clients to understand their business goals and collaborate with the SEO Content team to improve search rankings, increase organic traffic, and build citation share across AI platforms.
Your responsibilities span keyword and query-fan-out research, competitive analysis, on-page and off-page optimisation, technical and AI-crawler audits, content structuring for extractability, and AI visibility measurement and reporting.

Reporting directly to the SEO Director, this role offers the opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility as our team rapidly expands to meet the demands of a growing roster of ambitious clients.




Key Skills Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with client business goals, covering traditional organic search and AI/answer engine visibility.
Conduct keyword research, query mapping and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities across Google and AI search platforms.
Optimise content for both search rankings and AI extractability/citations.
Monitor and analyse SEO and AI visibility performance using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb and AI-visibility tracking tools.
Lead technical SEO audits, including crawlability, JavaScript rendering, robots.txt, llms.txt and AI crawler access.
Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement technical and on-page SEO improvements.
Develop link-building, earned media and brand-mention strategies to strengthen search authority.
Stay across SEO algorithm updates, AI search trends and changing citation behaviour, adapting strategies accordingly.
Prepare clear, data-driven reports and actionable recommendations for clients.
Support local SEO, including Google Business Profile, citations and local search optimisation.
Experience Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience,



ideally within an agency or quick-paced environment.
Proven experience developing and implementing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search visibility.
Working knowledge of GEO/AEO and an interest in how AI is changing search.
Strong knowledge of on-page and technical SEO, structured data/schema and content optimisation.
Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Similarweb.
Experience with link building, backlink analysis and brand-mention strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Nice to have: Basic HTML/CSS and CMS knowledge, particularly WordPress.
Nice to have: Experience working alongside paid search, performance or broader media teams.
