We're partnering with a leading national organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high-performing team.
This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, timely payroll services while supporting a strong culture of service excellence.
About the Role As a Payroll Officer, you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across a large, complex workforce.
Working within a collaborative setting, you'll support both line managers and employees by delivering high-quality payroll services and resolving queries efficiently.
You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and legislation Manage pay cycles, including terminations, reconciliations, overpayments, and reporting Create and review off-cycle and ad hoc payments Investigate and resolve Tier 2 payroll queries within SLA timeframes Monitor and action Payroll Control Centre (PCC) alerts Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality across all systems Support system updates, UAT testing,



and process improvements Collaborate with internal teams to support business-as-usual operations and projects Provide responsive, professional support to stakeholders across the business About You Payroll experience, ideally within a high-volume environment is required Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, enterprise agreements, and compliance requirements Experience using SAP SuccessFactors is a must!
