The Workshop Technician is responsible for the provision of the safe, efficient and compliant mechanical and/or electrical; diagnostic, repair, maintenance and component replacement services to the Division's customer base.
Responsibilities Provide electrical / mechanical services including but not limited to: Inspect products and/or materials for conformity Request required spare parts Operate workshop equipment Operation of relevant lifting equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals Maintain, overhaul and test electrical/electronic equipment Lubrication of electrical equipment Diagnostic analysis on electrical systems Running adjustments to plant and equipment Repair Vehicle/Plant Electrical Components Perform modifications to wiring looms and electrical components Machine armatures and ream bushes to fit shafts Strip, clean, lubricate and paint repaired items About you Essential Either: Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
