This is an opportunity for an experienced and purpose-driven professional to step into a pivotal operational role, helping coordinate rescue outcomes, support dedicated volunteers, and make real-world decisions that directly impact animal lives.
Job Description As Remote Operations Manager, you'll provide operational leadership across multiple regional locations, coordinating animal intake, foster placements, veterinary care, transport logistics and volunteer support.
Working closely with a passionate team of volunteers and stakeholders, you'll balance compassion with practical decision-making, ensuring the organisation's resources are used effectively to achieve the greatest possible animal welfare outcomes.
No two days will be the same.
One moment you may be coordinating a rescue outcome in a remote community, the next providing guidance to volunteers, reviewing veterinary approvals, managing operational priorities or helping solve a complex welfare challenge.




Coordinate and manage daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and implement operational strategies in alignment with organisational goals.
Oversee administrative processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Manage budgets and monitor financial performance within the organisation.
Provide leadership and support to staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and best practices in the not-for-profit sector.
