Complete Nursing and Home Care provides disability support and home care services, including Supported Independent Living, with a focus on supporting people with disability to live as independently as possible and participate in their community.
As a Residential Care Officer at Complete Nursing and Home Care, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to clients residing in supported accommodation settings, including Supported Independent Living.
This position requires empathy, strong communication skills and a commitment to safe, consistent and individualised care.
Responsibilities and Tasks: Conduct assessments of client needs and contribute to the development of individualised care and support plans for clients residing in supported accommodation settings, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), in line with NDIS objectives and personal preferences.
Provide personal care and assist SIL residents with daily living tasks such as hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and home duties, fostering independence and overall wellbeing.
Facilitate access to medical services, community engagement initiatives, and structured social activities to support inclusion and personal growth.
Implement behavioural and emotional support techniques,



responding effectively to mental health challenges and crisis situations.
Keep detailed and accurate documentation, including case notes and progress records, in compliance with organisational protocols and NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.
Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and community organisations to ensure holistic, coordinated care delivery.
Contribute to the orientation, training, and guidance of new staff, promoting safe practices and a consistent, person-centred approach to care.
Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Residential Care Officer.
Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care principles and quality service standards.
Excellent communication skills, empathy, and adaptability to diverse needs.
Ability to work within a dynamic team and maintain qualified standards of behaviour and documentation.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $79,000 - $90,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
