An opportunity has become available for an experienced Learning Development Specialist to join a large, established organisation.
Sitting within a broader People Culture function, you'll work across the business to support the development of employees and leaders through contemporary, practical and engaging learning initiatives.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys the full L D lifecycle - understanding what the business needs, developing the right solution and then bringing it to life through strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll be doing No two weeks will necessarily look the same.
You may be developing a new learning program, facilitating a leadership workshop, working with a business leader on a capability challenge or supporting the people elements of a broader organisational initiative.
Some of your key areas of focus will include: Creating learning programs, workshops and resources that respond to real business and capability needs Facilitating engaging sessions for employees, teams and leaders across different levels of the organisation Working closely with managers to understand performance or capability challenges and recommend appropriate development solutions Contributing to leadership development, team performance and broader people initiatives Building a mix of face-to-face, virtual and self-directed learning experiences Supporting the successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working through targeted learning Helping leaders and subject matter experts build confidence in delivering training and development internally Monitoring participation,
feedback and learning outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement Alongside program delivery, you'll play an important role in building relationships across the organisation and ensuring learning initiatives remain relevant, accessible and aligned with business priorities.
What we're looking for We're looking for an experienced Learning Development professional who can confidently operate across the full learning lifecycle.
You'll need to be equally strong in instructional design and content development as you are in facilitation, with demonstrated experience delivering engaging learning to a range of audiences, including leaders.
You'll bring proven experience identifying capability needs, designing practical learning solutions and translating business challenges into programs that drive meaningful behavioural change.
Strong experience across leadership development, digital and blended learning, and supporting organisational change through learning is essential.
You'll also need to be a confident internal consultant, with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
Experience working with learning management systems and digital authoring tools is required, alongside a strong understanding of adult learning and contemporary learning design principles.
