Emergency Medicine Opportunity The Emergency Department provides an opportunity for CMOs to develop advanced generalist and emergency medicine skills while working with experienced Consultant FACEMs .
The role offers the opportunity to progressively develop towards greater responsibility within the Emergency Department, including the potential to take responsibility for night shifts with appropriate consultant support available.
You will be expected to: Assess and manage a broad range of emergency presentations.
Work collaboratively with Consultant Emergency Physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
Coordinate patient assessment, investigation and treatment.
Contribute to patient flow and safe clinical disposition.
Support junior medical staff where appropriate.
Participate in clinical education,
quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Anaesthesia Opportunity The Anaesthesia position provides exposure to a broad rural anaesthetic service and an opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists.
The role would suit a doctor with appropriate anaesthetic experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive regional environment.
About You Applicants should have: General Registration with AHPRA , or eligibility for General Registration in Australia.
Minimum three years' postgraduate medical experience .
Appropriate training and clinical experience relevant to the position.
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Evidence of participation in continuing professional development.
Commitment to patient safety, clinical governance and quality improvement.
Emergency Medicine applicants Candidates should have appropriate Emergency Medicine experience and the ability to work with a degree of professional independence.
There is scope for suitable candidates to progressively develop towards a leadership role within the ED , including responsibility for night shifts, with direct Consultant FACEM support available on other shifts.
