Cabinetmaker Rockingham, WA, Full Time, Trades Services Vacancy Listing Dates 18/09/2026 to 16/10/2026 Please Quote Reference Number ***** Skilled and qualified Cabinetmaker required Full time opportunity Join the team at Dream Doors and Kitchens Dream Doors and Kitchens is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Cabinetmaker to join its team in Rockingham, Western Australia.
The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, modifying, installing and finishing quality cabinetry, kitchen components, furniture and joinery products in accordance with drawings, specifications and customer requirements as a part of Dream Doors Kitchens' refacing and renovation model.
Key Duties : Examine drawings, specifications, work orders and sample components to determine job requirements.
Select and work with timber, veneers, particleboard, MDF, laminates and other manufactured materials.
Measure, mark out, cut and shape timber and board products using appropriate hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery.
Manufacture cabinetry, kitchen cabinets, cupboards, shelving, drawers, doors, panels, furniture and other joinery items from drawings and specifications.
Assemble prepared components to form cabinetry, furniture sections and completed articles.
Fit and adjust hinges, locks, catches, handles, drawer runners, drawers, shelves and other cabinet hardware.
Modify existing cabinetry and joinery components to accommodate appliances, layout changes and installation requirements.
Measure and verify dimensions to ensure cabinetry and joinery components are manufactured and installed accurately.
Install kitchen cabinetry, doors, panels, benchtops and other joinery components as required.
Align, level and adjust cabinetry and components to achieve accurate fitting and quality finishes.
Check dimensions, alignment,
finish and workmanship throughout the manufacturing and installation process.
Carry out finishing, adjustments, repairs and refurbishment of cabinetry or furniture where required.
Identify and resolve manufacturing and installation issues efficiently.
Operate woodworking machinery and equipment safely and maintain tools and work areas in good working condition.
Coordinate with supervisors, installers and other trades to ensure projects are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Maintain quality standards and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.
Selection Criteria : A relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making, Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, Joinery or an equivalent recognised trade qualification.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cabinetmaking, joinery, furniture manufacturing or kitchen installation.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, measurements and technical specifications.
Practical experience in cutting, shaping, assembling and finishing timber and manufactured board products.
Experience fitting hinges, drawer runners, shelving, handles, locks and other cabinetry hardware.
Experience with kitchen cabinetry installation, including measuring, alignment, levelling and adjustment.
Competence in the safe use of woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finished work.
Ability to identify and resolve practical manufacturing and installation issues.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Good time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
The role is a permanent full-time chance based in Rockingham, Western Australia.
