Job Description As a Dental Assistant, you'll provide hands-on chairside support and help keep appointments running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include: Provide chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and equipment Clean, sterilise and maintain instruments in line with infection control requirements Keep clinical areas clean, organised and well stocked Support dentists and the wider clinical team during appointments Help patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical area Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or at least two years' dental assisting experience Sound knowledge of sterilisation and infection control procedures Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures and practice software A calm and friendly approach when working with patients Good attention to detail and organisational skills The ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment A reliable, team-focused approach and clear communication skills Additional Information Why join ****SMILES Cairns Central?
