Position: Office/Administration Manager Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $79,423 plus superannuation per annum Location: Collaroy Plateau NSW **** Our client is seeking an experienced Office/Administration Manager to join their team located in Collaroy Plateau, New South Wales.
The Office / Administration Manager is responsible for managing the company's administrative operations and ensuring the efficient coordination of its office systems, staff and resources.
The position supports the company's removal and relocation services by overseeing bookings, customer administration, documentation, accounts coordination, office procedures and communication between clients, removalist teams, suppliers and management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the company's daily office operations and administrative functions.
Develop, implement and review office policies, procedures and administrative systems.
Coordinate customer bookings and maintain accurate schedules for residential and commercial removal projects.
Allocate administrative resources and coordinate communication between clients, drivers, removalist teams and management.
Supervise and support administrative staff, including allocating duties, monitoring performance and providing training.
Manage client enquiries, quotations, service agreements, invoices and other business documentation.
Maintain accurate customer, booking, employee, vehicle and supplier records.
Monitor office expenditure, process invoices and assist with accounts receivable and payable.
Coordinate with management regarding staffing requirements, workloads, service schedules and operational priorities.
Manage relationships with suppliers, storage facilities, insurers and other service providers.
Oversee the purchase and maintenance of office equipment, supplies and administrative resources.
Assist with recruitment, staff onboarding, employment records, timesheets and leave administration.
Monitor customer service standards and manage complaints or service-related administrative issues.
Prepare operational, financial and administrative reports for management.
Ensure office records and procedures comply with relevant workplace, privacy, safety and business requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative efficiency, customer service and internal communication.
Organise meetings, prepare correspondence and provide administrative support to senior management.
Requirements: Qualifications and Experience A relevant diploma or higher qualification in business, management or a related field; or At least three (3) years of relevant experience in office administration or management where permitted as a substitute for formal qualifications.
Experience managing office systems, administrative staff and business records.
Experience within the removals, transport, logistics or service industry is desirable.
Solid organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Competence in office software, booking systems and accounting or invoicing platforms.
