Job Description
Qualifications & experience
n
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration.
n
Minimum three years' experience in Aged Care, preferably in residential and / or community setting in a relevant supervisory or management level position.
n
An ability to understand and work the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC)
n
Must have all Current COVID Vaccination and current Influenza Vaccination.
n
Current National Police Clearance.
n
n

A proven ability in leadership skills and in managing people.
n
Communication skills, to include but not limited to negotiation, consultation, facilitation, presentation and coaching skills using well-developed interpersonal skills in influence, inform and reconcile differences and resolve conflicts
n
IT literate and able to use standard office software
n
Provide clinical care in accordance with best practice, organisational policy, legislation, and standards.
n
Provides clear direction and priorities to care staff and nurses.
n
Upon commencement of shift, ensure all students and agency staff have clear instructions on work areas and duties.
n
Assists team members to prioritise and delegate when faced with diverse workloads.
n
Deals positively with uncertainty and ambiguity to enable the team to remain focused.
n
Assists with staff performance (i.e. probationary reviews and annual appraisals), clearly communicating performance expectations, acknowledging achievement and providing timely constructive feedback where appropriate.
n
