Professional Search Group (PSG) is looking for a
Junior Applications Developer
to join their Applications Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer to build hands-on experience across the full application lifecycle while working on business-critical systems, ERP platforms, integrations and reporting solutions.

Working alongside experienced developers, you'll gain exposure to modern development practices, cloud technologies and enterprise applications in a supportive, collaborative environment.

You'll assist with the development, maintenance and support of core business applications while providing application support and contributing to ongoing technology improvements. This is a great prospect to develop your technical skills while working on real-world business systems.

Key Responsibilities: n
n
Assist in developing and maintaining business applications, ERP systems, integrations and reporting solutions.
n
Provide Level 1 and 2 application support, troubleshooting issues and resolving service requests.
n
Support application testing, deployments and system enhancements.
n




Work with senior developers to deliver new features and improvements.
n
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and development best practices.
n
Learn and apply modern development practices, including version control, secure coding and CI/CD principles.
n
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable business solutions.
n
n
You'll have:
n
n
A relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
n
Foundational experience in software development or application support.
n
Basic SQL knowledge and an understanding of databases.
n
Exposure to programming languages such as C#, .NET or similar.
n
An understanding of APIs, integrations or web services.
n
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
n
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
n
Desirable: n
n
Exposure to Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms.
n
Knowledge of Git, Power BI or Microsoft Power Platform.
n
Understanding of SDLC, testing and modern development practices.
n
