Head Chef
n We are currently hiring an experienced Head Chef for a mediterranean restaurant offering casual fine dine. We are looking for a motivated team member, to work in our restaurant in southside ACT. Must be able to work weekends including lunch and dinner.
n
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
n
Fine dining experience in a fast-paced establishment.
n
Food preparation and cooking, plating and presentation.
n
Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies.
n
Innovative in producing recent ideas for menu and special occasions.
n
Able to work in a busy environment, including weekends and public holidays.
n
Have demonstrated leadership qualities and rostering expertise.
n
Ability to communicate with the FOH manager effectively and keep a last positive relationship.
n
Train other kitchen staff if required.
n
All other required cook/chef duties.
n
Requirement:
n
1 year plus Chef/Cook experience.
n
Cert III / CertIV in cookery preferred.
n
Teamwork oriented.
n
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
n
High standard of personal hygiene.
n
Work independently without supervision,
n
Work in a fast-paced environment.
