Chef - Part time / Casual

Hourly Rate from $***** to $***** (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + Penalty Rates + 12% Superannuation

Breakfast shifts - 5:30am-10:30am
n
7 day rotating roster

Parking available on site

THE POSITION
n

Food preparation and cooking
n
Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
n
Friendly customer service
n
Function work and large volume cooking
n
Stocktake and control
n
HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S; regulations
n
General kitchen and cleaning duties as required.
n

THE PERSON
n
n




Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
n
An understanding of Café style food advantageous
n
Can be highly organised & fast paced
n
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
n
Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
n
Basic understanding of OH&S; regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
n
