About the Role:
n
As their Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management for their business. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of their company.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
n
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.
n
Payroll Management:
Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages, including superannuation and tax obligations.
n
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
n
BAS Preparation & Lodgement:
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) accurately and on time.
n
Invoicing & Billing:
Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of customer billing.
n
Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
n
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
n
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
n
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements to existing financial processes and systems.
n
Liaison:
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant stakeholders.
n
Ad-hoc Duties:
Perform other related duties as required.

About You:
n
n
Proven experience as a Company Accountant or similar role.
n
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
n
Solid experience with payroll processing and related legislation.
n
Demonstrated proficiency in preparing and lodging BAS.
n
Experience with accounting software.
n
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
n
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
n
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Experience in the solar industry or related field is a plus.
n
A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA preferred).
