We have casual opportunities available across our aged care homes located in Melbourne western suburbs, offering flexibility to suit your availability while allowing you to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Provide respectful personal care, including hygiene assistance, dressing and mobility supportto the residents.
n
Assist residents with daily living activities and meals.
n
Foster independence, dignity, and individual choice for each resident.
n
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
n
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
n
n
What you will bring:
n
n
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in personal care ideally in an aged care setting
n
Experience caring for people living with dementia.Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent e.g. Individual Support)
n
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with residents living with dementia and/or where English is a second language.
n
Demonstrated ability to document concisely and effectively in resident progress notes
n
Ability to work effectively and respectfully in a team environment.
n




Knowledge of the Care Plan process and the relevant assessments required.
n
Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach.
n
