The opportunity:

Own a ~$600m asset base across a complex infrastructure environment, with responsibility for ensuring the asset register is accurate, well managed and fit for purpose;

Make a genuine impact - you'll lead a major asset lifecycle project, working closely with Finance, Engineering and Operations to improve how assets are managed across the business; and
n
High visibility and autonomy - this is a role where you'll be the subject matter expert, working with senior stakeholders including the ELT and General Managers and having real ownership of the outcome.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:
n
We're looking for a qualified or experienced Asset Accountant with strong fixed asset accounting experience - someone who understands asset registers, capitalisation, depreciation and the full asset lifecycle, and enjoys getting stuck into a project and improving the way things are done.
n
Experience in infrastructure or another asset-intensive workplace would be highly regarded, but the key requirement is strong fixed asset accounting experience.
