Job Description
Operations & Business Manager – Education
n
Goldstone College
n Surry Hills, Sydney NSW
n Full-time
n $80,000 – $85,000 + Super per year
n
About the Role
n
Goldstone College is looking for a capable and proactive Operations Manager to work directly with the CEO and take ownership of day-to-day operations, team coordination and key business projects.
n
This role is ideal for someone who can take an idea or objective, turn it into a transparent action plan, coordinate people and priorities, solve problems and follow through to completion.
n
You will play a key role in building the systems, team and operational structure of a growing education business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Manage day-to-day business and college operations
n
Coordinate staff priorities, responsibilities and deadlines
n
Turn CEO initiatives into practical action plans and follow them through to completion
n
Monitor KPIs and provide concise weekly management reports
n
Develop and improve SOPs, workflows and internal systems
n
Identify operational issues and recommend practical solutions
n
Manage projects from planning through to implementation
n
Support agent, partner and business development activities
n
Coordinate across Admissions, Student Services, Marketing and Academic/Compliance functions
n
Support the implementation of current programs and business initiatives
n
About You
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in operations, business management,
education management or a similar role
n
Demonstrated experience coordinating people, projects and priorities
n
Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
n
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
n
Communicates clearly, concisely and professionally
n
Comfortable working directly with a CEO in a growing organisation
n
Able to work independently without requiring constant follow-up
n
Uses facts and numbers when reporting and making recommendations
n
Investigates problems and proposes practical solutions
n
Able to manage people while maintaining accountability and a positive team environment
n
Enjoys improving systems and finding better ways of working
n
Adaptable and comfortable working in a growing organisation where priorities may evolve
n
Experience in the RTO/CRICOS or international education sector will be highly regarded but is not essential
n
