About the Opportunity
n Advance Thinking is partnering with a leading enterprise organisation undertaking a significant Salesforce transformation program. We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Manager to lead the planning, governance, execution, and successful delivery of all data migration activities associated with the rollout.
n This is a high-profile contract prospect for a hands-on leader who can bridge business and technical teams while ensuring data quality, integrity, and readiness throughout the migration lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the end-to-end data migration strategy and delivery plan.
n
Lead data migration workstreams across multiple business and technology stakeholders.
n
Define migration scope, approach, governance, milestones, and delivery roadmap.
n
Manage data discovery, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
n
Coordinate migration activities between business teams, Salesforce delivery teams, architects, integration specialists, and vendors.
n
Establish and manage migration environments, cutover planning, and deployment readiness activities.
n
Drive data quality initiatives and ensure compliance with organisational data governance standards.
n
Identify, manage, and mitigate migration-related risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
n
Lead migration testing, mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.
n
Provide regular reporting and executive-level status updates to project and program leadership.
n
Ensure successful transition to business-as-usual support following deployment.

Experience Required
n

Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data migration programs.
n
Previous experience leading data migration activities within Salesforce implementations or transformations.
n
Strong understanding of CRM, customer, operational, and master data management principles.
n
Experience working with large and complex datasets across multiple source systems.
n
Demonstrated experience managing business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
n
Strong project management, planning, and governance capabilities.
n
Experience managing vendors, consulting partners, and cross-functional delivery teams.
n
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
Highly Desirable

n
Salesforce implementation or transformation experience.
n
Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, or similar migration and integration platforms.
n
Experience leading migration cutovers within complex enterprise environments.
n
Background in data governance, data quality, or enterprise data management.
n
Agile and/or traditional project delivery experience.
n
