The Role /n

We're seeking a Technical Employee

- Metals to support our Metals training team at the Alanvale campus.

This hands-on role is all about logistics and operational support

- ordering, stocking, and managing inventory
- ensuring our classrooms and workshops are equipped and ready to deliver top-quality training.

/n

Working under general direction, you'll ensure the safe and efficient movement and storage of tools and materials, and help maintain an organised, compliant, and accessible workspace.

/n

On any given day, your responsibilities will include:

/n

/n

- Order supplies and tools for the Metals training programs

/n

- Receive and unpack goods, stock items in designated storage locations

/n

- Keep inventory accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for trainers and students

/n

- Assist with maintaining workshop equipment and keeping learning spaces clean and safe

/n

- Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure classrooms are well-prepared and stocked

/n

What You Will Bring /n

/n

- Experience in metals, warehousing, stores, or a similar hands-on environment

/n

- Great mechanical fitting skills with knowledge of operating lathes and milling machines.

/n





- Great organisational skills-you know where everything goes and how to keep it that way

/n

- Confidence using ordering systems, tracking inventory, and managing stock

/n

- Ability to lift and move equipment safely and follow WHS protocols

/n

- Positive communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

/n

- A proactive, reliable approach-you see what needs to be done and do it!

/n

Requirements /n

Certificate III in a relevant trade (Fitting or Engineering)

/n

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
